Glen Iris Inn
About This Spot
Stepping into the Glen Iris Inn, nestled within the gentle embrace of Letchworth State Park, feels like discovering a cherished local retreat where warmth and quiet delight linger in the air. The pace here invites you to slow down, to savor moments between conversation and the comforting crackle from a nearby fireplace. It’s the kind of place that holds a relaxed familiarity, blending the timeless appeal of a countryside inn with the subtle charm of a gathering spot where stories and smiles flow as generously as the wine.
Whether you’re settling in for a hearty meal or browsing the lovingly curated gift shop, the atmosphere gently encourages a sense of ease. Tables are set with thoughtful care, offering an inviting stage for dishes that hold the kind of homegrown character you want to sink into. The menu doesn’t just nourish—it connects you with the seasons, boasting flavors that range from a rich, slow-cooked roast to a bright, fresh tuna appetizer. The experience tilts beautifully between tradition and touches of local flair, while the occasional lively clink of glasses echoes the enjoyment of summer wine pairings and thoughtfully selected pours by the glass.
The inn’s approachable spirit draws a mix of visitors—from weekend travelers seeking the calm of nearby woods to locals who appreciate a meal that feels both familiar and just a bit special. There’s an unspoken respect here for the rhythms of genuine service and the way shared moments at the table build quietly over time. This is a place where the care in the kitchen reflects a down-to-earth hospitality, one that invites you to linger a little longer, embracing the gentle hum of satisfied company and the soft glow of hands-on hospitality.

We ate lunch and we felt the that it was 5 stars.Food service and price was perfect for the times we are living in.Highly recommend and ask that the owners to keep a close eye on staff as we see most work hard while one at least take advantage of expecting the others to work while they play on there phone...But over all we thank you for a superb well maintained business who still care about the costumer. THANK YOU!!!One big thing we felt kept us from eating here was the lack of direction where enter for dining. From the parking lot to the door you enter should be clearly marked.
